A recent article @thesundaytimes cited research by Kit Huckvale – published in JAMA – indicates that many health apps are sharing your data with third parties. This is common knowledge with social media, and I suppose part of the new social (media) contract, aka “the surveillance economy”, but how would you feel if your private medical insurance premiums increased because your sleep app data was shared with an insurer? Or your alcohol consumption? At CKP we take protecting your data very seriously… perhaps you should check those T&Cs next time you want to track your activity?
is your app sharing your personal sensitive data?
