physiotherapy & rehabilitation
physiotherapy and rehabilitation
We all need to move, whether that means chasing after our grandchildren in the park, getting through a stressful day at work, caring for someone close to us, or challenging ourselves to our first marathon, we all need to be able to perform these activities without pain and dysfunction.
Most non-traumatic muscle and joint pain arises from several factors. If we move inefficiently, using the wrong muscles, or placing joints in positions that make them vulnerable to stress and strain, we develop pain and sometimes injury. Our nervous system and how it perceives these activities also exerts a strong influence on the severity and persistence of these symptoms.
We need to understand the root cause of the problem. Once we have assessed how you move we will prescribe and work with you through a programme to correct the underlying issues.
