I had a series of Focussed Shock Wave therapy sessions with Cris because Dupuytren's contracture in my little finger had not been fully corrected by surgery 7 years ago and was getting worse again, putting additional strain on my wrist.

Amazing. Neck mobility is much better. Shoulder pain has vanished. Right side of neck a bit sore, but this does not surprise me. Still some pain in hand from running, but rather less than earlier this week, and I'm hopeful now I can work on fixing residual inflammation rather than causing more! So pleased. Thank you!

It has been a very difficult time but hopefully I am now coming out the other side and can start to get myself fitter (and trimmer) and we shouldn't need to see each other again?

I had been told by those treating me in Spain, where I live, that the pain I was suffering from had become chronic and they could do nothing more for me. Then a friend here recommended me to come to the UK to see Cris, who'd really helped her following a running injury. Once Cris got me started on a simple exercise programme I immediately started to make progress. Coming every few months to the UK I continue to make progress with his support. I can't believe how much I've improved although it's been a long process.

Just wanted to say a big thank you. I put into practice the advice that you gave me last week, in particular focusing on the elements of the running drill and really concentrating on not wasting energy by keeping aligned. Without even really trying and barely checking my pace at all, I managed to get my course PB on Saturday (24:40). 40 seconds faster than the previous week and much faster than I have been lately. Out of almost 350 runners, I was the sixth female to finish and first in my age category!

I am now back at uni and under my coach again and running all seems to be going very well, I even have my first race back next weekend!
